About Wild Desert Hare

Allow me to introduce myself,
I'm an artist who until recently worked full time at a nine to five job working on my artwork when time and money permitted. I now have the opportunity to work full time on my creative urges and have created a web site to showcase my work. MadratStudio.com. I construct mixed-media boxes, cabinets & small shrines  or curio cases and I'm a  photographer. The photography is primarily b&w but I've recently ventured into combining painting with the photographic images. It was while I was developing Madrat Studio that the seed for this site was planted. Having worked with artist in my previous profession (framing) I'm well aware how hard it is to support oneself with ones art. I find myself in that same position, I need an income.

While I was developing my personal web site, the idea for this gallery/boutique began to grow to the point of a small obsession. I've always loved wandering through galleries looking at all the creative things other artist were doing and I thought it would be fun to create my own online gallery and choose the artist whose work I'm interested in. I decided I would limit it to functional and decorative arts and have chosen pieces for their visual interest. I've included work by individual artist as well as companies that produce their designs on a larger scale. The selection will be limited at first but I hope to be able to add more pieces as time passes. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have about any of the items listed on this site or if you'd like larger more detailed photos via email, that can be provided. A note about handmade pieces

Store Policies

Payment :   Paypal would get your item sent the quickest but if you'd like to pay by money order, cashiers check or personal check, please e-mail me so I can put the item you wish to purchase on hold. Items will not be sent out until personal checks clear.

Returns :    Are accepted providing I'm contacted within 10 days of item having been received and must be shipped from the buyer within 1 weeks from notification of the item being returned. Full refund of original purchase price will be given, providing item is in good condition on it's return. Original shipping charges will be credited to your next purchase. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and must be insured. Items received in poor condition will only be eligible for store credit or partial refund. Shipping :   Items will be shipped within 3 days of order being processed. Standard shipping applies 
( Priority, First Class or FedEx). Expedited shipping will incur additional charges, please contact me when order is placed via e-mail. 

Shipping outside the U.S. may require additional charges, Please contact me with an address so that I can adjust the total if needed. Please be aware of your countries duties & taxes as I cannot be held responsible for additional charges.
